James received his BA in Economics at Emory University, his MA in Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, and his PhD in Philosophy at Syracuse University. He has taught various philosophy courses, including Introduction to Formal Logic, Critical Thinking, Introduction to Philosophy, and Introduction to Ethics, for over ten years. He has also taught SAT and GRE preparation both privately and for Kaplan Test Prep for over five years. James is passionate about teaching and participates in cutting edge research in pedagogy, having published about best teaching practices in well regarded journals. James is currently an adjunct professor at Syracuse University and Onondaga Community College.
