Puzzlers and Problem Solvers

(with Jennifer Snyder)

Looking for a challenge?  This workshop is focused on problem solving and math puzzles. Students will be given opportunities to work on non-routine problems and puzzles that will challenge them and nurture deep thinking. Problem solving is a learned skill and students need many experiences to develop their reasoning skills and strategies to be successful.   The problems given will build confidence, curiosity, self-reliance, and persistence. We want to help build students’ “mathematical stamina.”

For students in grades 1-6 who are ready to be challenged and have some fun with math outside of the classroom!

Mondays 10:00-10:45

Cost: $25
